Berry Banana Smoothie

A smoothie is a great refresher at any time, and a good way to get the recommended portions of fresh fruit into your diet. Smoothies are single best type of recipes to experiment with.         

Berry Banana Smoothie is a cool smoothie made with strawberries, blue berries and banana.  

This smoothie is very berrylicious! Make it for breakfast, a snack, or even enjoy it for dessert. This breakfast treat blends up in no time. 


Ingredients :-

Blue berries - 1/2  cup ; 
Strawberries -  1/2 cup ;
Peach yogurt - 1 cup ;
Cranberry juice - 1 cup ; 
Banana - 1/2 ;
Sugar / honey / sweetener - if needed ;(I didn't use)

Directions :-

1. Whirl all ingredients together in a blender until it is smooth and creamy.

Experiment to see how you like it !!


To serve, pour into tall glasses. If desired, garnish each drink with fresh fruits.

Tips :- 
---------- 
# You can use any flavored or plain yogurt.
# I like my smoothies thick, if you prefer a thinner smoothie, add more fruit juice and puree for a little longer.
# If the fruits are very sweet and you use sweet yogurt you might not need to add any sugar.  
# If you use frozen fruit, defrost it in the microwave for 20 seconds before using it. Non-frozen fruit blends better than frozen fruit.
# If you aren't using frozen fruit, throw in a couple of ice cubes.
# You can use any fruit you have on hand.
